MISCELLANEOUS PHOTO EXPERIENCE

❋ Over the past ten years I’ve worked with photographer Ryan McGinley on many projects. I coordinated the first of his series of cross-country photography road trips and the European Morrissey tour for his Irregular Regulars series. Most recently, I edited his conversation with Catherine Opie that appeared in his monograph, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere.

❋ I was one of five judges on the panel for One Life: An International Photography Competition sponsored by Photo District News magazine.

❋ School stuff: I participated as a representative from Vice magazine in the annual graduating-student portfolio reviews at Parsons and the International Center of Photography in 2008, 2009, and 2010. I guest-critiqued student portfolios in an advanced photography class at the City College of New York in March 2010 and I guest-lectured at Parsons on the topic of photo-blogging (hilarious) in November 2006.

❋ A two-page spread of my own journalistic photos were published in the art book Live Through This: New York In the Year 2005 (Deitch Projects).

❋ And finally, this is my old, beloved photo-diary website (2004-2008): www.teenageunicorn.com
